Not a chance! We have a dynamic ongoing conversation that continues to grow and define itself every 15 years or so. Sometimes we have memory loss and have to be reminded. That gives the generations the opportunity to speak to each other. I know, people think the Millenials and the Boomers are yelling at each other. But in reality, they are so much alike it is silly. And they can’t see it. GenX is the first generation with a major group of women working…and then GenX women decided they could “bring it home, cook it up and make “you” think you were a man”. Well isn’t that foretelling? We have women now that want to be more like men and men who want desperately to be women. So who do we need to make “feel like a man?”. Anyway, GenZ is out there floating around trying desperately to find a place that is comfortable…and whatever generation is next…well, I don’t know. But it is a dynamic conversation, and needs to keep going. Looking back will only define a moment, and won’t help the future.
Oh, and The Boomer vs. Millenial thing? They save their money, both ask 1000 questions before doing anything and well, they think they are always right. Just my honest opinion. If we step back, the humor is easy to see, feel and enjoy. I happen to be GenX…and I really could care very little what anyone else thinks (right)?
